The current penning of the Spiderman 4 script has changed hands twice. It started with James Vanderbilt (Zodiac) and was then re-written by edgy American play wright David Lindsay-Abaire, and now it’s making a third round. Variety reports that Gary Ross (Seabiscuit) is taking over. Generally when a script changes hands like this, it’s a bad sign. In most cases it means the movie is going to suck. However, have faith! I believe that this will be in exception to that notion. Ross’ work is classy, dramatic, and artful. I’m confident that he can make magic happen and re-instill our faith in the Spiderman franchise.
