FOX Sues Over X-Files Porn

xxxfilesmain2
So this is too funny. The other day I was at my local porn shop, for reasons I will leave for you to decide. After walking by the KY Jelly aisle and quickly….running passed Transvestite alley I bumped into a gentleman holding a video of “Seinfeld, A XXX Parody”. My jaw dropped and I produced a good a chuckle at the amusement of what I was seeing in this dudes hand. The creepy yet oddly nice dude said “you think this is funny? Well check out these”. My new friend showed me a wall with a full line of sitcom porn spoofs. “The Office”, “Friends”, “30 Rock”, ‘Scrubs”…. Why the hell didn’t anyone tell me about this sooner?  Very rarely do I actually by porn (Uhh Internet anyone?) but just for the share hilariousness off sitcom porn I opened up my wallet and purchased “Friends, A XXX parody”. I have not yet viewed this DVD as I am still googling over the front and backside cover but you can expect a full review soon. So why is this story funny? Well I guess its really not but it is coincidental that on the same day (today) that I was going to mention my discovery of these adult video gems I was contacted by a media rep. from Sensation/Digital Sin who shared with me a bit of news regarding their latest release.

FOX OBJECTS TO PORN PARODY OF ‘X-FILES’

Adult movie studio Digital Sin/New Sensations’ has drawn fire from Twentieth Century Fox for their adult parody of ‘X-Files’

CHATSWORTH, CA – August 24, 2009 – Twentieth Century Fox has sent a cease and desist letter to adult film studio Digital Sin/New Sensations, currently in post production on a parody of its television series “X-Files.” Their X-rated drama, set to release in late September of this year, was given a title “The X-Files: A Dark XXX Parody.”

In the letter, a representative from Fox demands that Digital Sin/New Sensations change the title of the film and cease use of the X-Files mark.  Digital Sin/New Sensations does not believe that its intended product infringes the rights of Fox.  However, in the spirit of cooperation, the Company has decided to respond to Fox’s concerns by adapting the title to “The Sex Files: A Dark XXX Parody,” removing the website associated with the film and changing the names of the main characters.
I can only imagine what kind of shanigans Sculder and Mully (assumed name changes) will be up to. Perhaps they encounter some sort of nefarious cock monster or maybe some bizare family that can only survive by eating pussy. I really don’t know what to expect but I am certainly looking forward to its release.
