I would not go so far as to call Maxim magazine the bane of my existence (that prize goes to my mother), but it is most certainly something I get huffy about.  Maxim is notorious for cheating, lying, and semi-nude-ing their way to the top.  Their blatant over-use of photoshop is nothing short of insulting.  It annoys me when I see men paying $4/month for this trash when they could be paying $4/month for SuicideGirls.  They’re classified under evil manipulative corporation too, but at least there’s ACTUAL nudity, and the forums are admittedly quite fun.  Maxim is the male equivalent of Cosmo, a place where body images are distorted and poor advice is given daily.

However, today I tip my hat to Maxim, for they at least had the good sense to finally get Six and Boomer of Battlestar in their skivvies.  Well played, gentlemen.
