Some people like masks. Personally, I find them kind of creepy, but whatever floats your boat, right?
“well it’s getting cold and i wanted a ski mask, and i like pokemon so this is what you get when you combine all of the above.”
Well when you put it like that, even I’ll consider ordering a super-cute mask! Maybe. Thanks to Geekologie for the heads-up on the mask. Gotta catch ’em all!
After the jump, take a look at four other homemade masks of varying degrees of success.
Ok, so the Chain Chomp above actually is a hat, not a mask. But it’s cute, right? Between Chain Chomp, Pikachu and the little Link outfit, I’m starting to think that I need to learn to crochet. I’m also starting to think that I’m obsessed with Nintendo.
What? More Nintendo? The girl can’t help it. Sigh. Anyway, this Deku mask from the Majora’s Mask game looks pretty rad and maybe easy to make, no?
Here’s a pretty decent Scarecrow mask. Sewn-up mouths always freak me the hell out – is that just me?
True story: When I was four, Spider-Man visited the local Harts department store, and I sat on his lap and had my photo taken with him. For my birthday that year, I received a Spider-Man head on a stick that you ride around like those pony things. And that story had nothing to do with anything. But hey, look up there — Spider-Man mask and puffy paint!
And finally, we come to Darth Maul. Er… I think. I guess? They’re super-inexpensive, though, so order a few for your spawn! There’s not a kid alive who doesn’t need Sith tattoos.
