Ladies and gentleman we have some sad news to report today. Someone drank the rest of the milk in the nerdbastards fridge and a perfectly good bowl of Lucky Charms cereal has just gone un-eaten. Ok that was a bit insensitve because there is some real bummer news that broke today.
Zelda Rubinstein who portrayed the demon excorcist Tangina Barrons in Poltergeist, has passed away and the age of 76. She suffered a heart attack several months ago and had been hospitlized since, supposedly dying of complications. She will be rememberd for her tiny 4’3 body and haunting childlike voice.
“Catcher in the Rye” author J.D. Salinger has died at age 91 in New Hampshire.
The author’s son, in a statement from the author’s literary representative, says Salinger died of natural causes at his home. He had lived for decades in self-imposed isolation in the small, remote house in Cornish, N.H.
The famous recluse and hermit is most remembered for his tale of the twisted, rebellious Holden Caulfield in ‘Catcher in The Rye’.
There is a alot to be said about Mr. Salinger and his work but lets just say he was a weird dude that could write a damn good book.
Sorry for the lack of detail in todays post folks but I’m pretty sure some garden gnomes stole my pants and my milk. My priorities are elsewhere.
