The Narnia saga has done fairly well in the US box office over the years. It never quite makes back what it cost to churn out of the studio, but then it triples it’s take worldwide. I’ve been watching this phenomenon over the last decade with much dismay. It can’t do what Lord of the Rings did or what Harry Potter continues to do but it still keeps getting a bangup release with the same cast and great CGI. The trailer looks fantastic, but unless you’ve read the book, leaves much to the imagination, giving very cryptic and vague explanations on what exactly is going on in this film. Like, literally, the trailer just looks like the film is flexing its CG muscles and showing Aslan being very wise but not saying anything at the same time. (via sci-fi wire)
What do you think? Are you looking forward to Narnia or are you losing faith?
