100 Greatest Movie Insults of All Time

full-metal-jacket-6 (1)

I remember back in Grade 5 getting the Scholastic book order catalog, and there was only one book all of my friends and I wanted: “Garfield’s Insults, Put-downs, and Slams.” And when we all got our copies weeks later, the barbs were flying back and forth across the schoolyard.

I remember reading the book over and over again, and some still stick out in my mind. For example:
I hate to leave, but my doctor says boredom is bad for me.
Go sleep face-down on a bed of nails!
What are you looking at, squid face?

But, those were all small potatoes compared to what has been said in the movies.

Internet surfing and editing maestro, Harry Hanrahan (or known on YouTube as hh1edits), has compiled a list of what he thinks are the 100 greatest movie insults of all time. Some of these lines are classics in their own right, and I must admit, it is quite the list.

Which is your favorite?

Just a brief Public Service Announcement: Remember, there is foul language aplenty in the video below the jump.

So sit back, relax, grab a pen and paper and write down some of these gems to hurl at your leisure.
