The fan-made masterpiece Star Wars Uncut is finally here. Don’t know what Star Wars: Uncut is? Last year former Vimeo developer Casey Pugh (not to be confused with PEW) invited the Internet to help him remake Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, one 15-second clip at a time. The most popular clips from fans would be compiled into the final film. Some filmmakers submitted their own Be King Rewind-style Sweded video reproductions, while others recreated scenes using various forms of animation and photography. The end result is a wonderfully crazy patchwork quilt of a film, which is exactly what it should be. Yes, Uncut is based on the remastered edition, but still. The project was launched in early 2009, and the movie has finally been completed and is available to watch for free online. Watch it right now below
