“Jonah Hex” was an object lesson in how not to adapt a comic book. It was an incoherent mess of a movie, all style, no substance and just painfully awkward.
The movies big problem was that it deviated from the source material. Namely, by allowing Hex the ability to resurrect the dead temporarily, a skill never demonstrated in other versions of the character. Then again, if they did follow closer to the source and dropped that silly speaking to the dead thing, would the movie have been any better? Nope.
Here, the actor who played Hex, Josh Brolin reveals his true feelings about working on the movie and talks about how it all went wrong.
Well, there you have it. He basically says that all you have to do to enjoy Jonah Hex is to visualize retards masturbating.
