Oh Bobby, when will you learn to shut your freaking mouth? Once again the Activision president, Bobby Kotick, has revealed a new way he wants to make money. He believes that he could make big bucks by gathering up all of a games cutscene and sell it as a movie for about $20-$30. He thinks if he does this with Starcraft, he will have a box-office hit.

First off, some games already have an option to view cutscenes once you have seen it, beaten the level, or complete the game. I don’t think many people will double dip into something they could have already seen. Second, just connecting cutscenes together sometimes don’t work story wise due to jumps and some games having the story told while playing a level. And lastly, Bobby Kotick, you’re a dick.

From wanting games to cost more than $60 to having a subscription to play Call of Duty’s online multiplayer to admitting that he doesn’t play video games, Bobby Kotick has been saying and doing things to make him and Activision a target. C’mon, even Tim Schafer (Brutal Legend, Psychonauts) believes Kotick is not good for the business. What do y’all think? You think Kotick is doing what any good businessman would do or do you believe that he is a fool? Tell us what you think by leaving a comment.
