Videogame trailers are a bit of a lost art form. They used to be suspenseful, dramatic, comedic, etc…
Now, most (but not all, there are some exceptions out there) game trailer use shock, awe, and pretty graphics to sell you on the game.
But, not all games need flashy graphics and intricate plot twists. Take, for example, Minecraft.
Minecraft is a computer game that is very simple. You live in a world where everything is pixelated and block-like, and you must mine and build structures in which to live. But, of course, you are not alone. There are others who seek to impeded your progress, and they are … well, I won’t spoil it for you. You can download/play the newest version of the game here after paying a small subscription fee (or you can also play a simpler version of the game for free there as well).
If you are still not sold on the very fun game, check out the amazing trailer for Minecraft below that plays out like a movie trailer, even using the music from the movie Inception.
If this doesn’t make you want to play the game, you need to start playing a lot more videogames.
