The Hobbit hasn’t come out yet, but already I’m tired of hearing about it. The most recent news on the film is that it will be filmed in 3D! Oh great, just what a film that hasn’t even been greenlit by the studio needs. On the upside, this won’t just be your average conversion to 3D. The movie will actually be filmed in 3D. This is nice since it eliminates the film from looking cheap. What also won’t be cheap are the ticket prices my friends. 3D films are definitely made with the idea of extorting the movie goer by having jacked up ticket prices. So the big question here is, when The Hobbit finally is complete are you willing to go/pay that extra mile to see it in 3D. Will it really make a difference?
