Welcome gaming bastards to another edition of G.R.O.W. This is NerdBastards weekly video game release list where we give y’all a heads up on what was released for the consoles and PC. We also cover downloadable titles as well although there is only one this week you should check on a console you probably wouldn’t expect. The holiday gaming release is still in full effect as we get some long awaited sequels. So what are y’all waiting for? Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II is a single player action game for Xbox 360 and sequel to 2008’s Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Following a unique storyline revolving around Darth Vader’s secret apprentice, that parallels the events of Star Wars: Episode III and Episode IV, The Force Unleashed II revels in addictive and over-the-top Force-based gameplay powers which include those seen in the first game as well as new powerful additions like Force Fury and the Jedi Mind Trick. Additional features include dual-wielded light sabers, increased puzzle-solving gameplay, expanded customization and all-new combo attacks.
If you’ve seen the commercials for this game and still have no interest in playing this, then you might have some sort of a problem as finally the sequel to The Force Unleashed is here. Players once again control Starkiller and he is pissed. With Yoda, Boba Fett, dual wielding lightsabers and what seems to be an epic encounter with Darth Vader. The collector’s edition includes some in-game content, a Starkiller flash drive, and a digital art book.

Fable III has gone through some changes in order to better it and to make it more accessible. The game really emphasize on the whole good/bad system as your character will be “morphing” with the decision you make. The limited edition of the game contains a deck of Fable III branded cards, a coin that helps you decide to pick either a good or bad decision, some in-game content.
Rock Band 3
Rock Band 3 is the third main release in the iconic video game series that challenges gamers to live out their Rock & Roll fantasies together in a band situation, both locally and online. The game features an ever expanding song list from every era of Rock & Roll history, easy to pick up yet challenging addictive Note Highway gameplay, compatibility with earlier releases in the series and all platform-specific instrument controllers including most Guitar Hero controllers, extreme in-game character and band customization, and a slew of new features. These new features include: new setlist search functionality, the addition of 3-part harmonies and a keyboard peripheral and expanded play modes, including the advanced Pro Mode.
Harmonix has done it again by bringing music rhythm genre to a new high by bring in keyboards and the all new pro mode. As you may have guessed it, Pro mode is basically playing the real instrument whether it be 102 fret button Fender or the real guitar controller that will be release later. The keyboard is a welcome addition to the game and hell, you can even use it to play guitar/bass parts just so you can get your keytar on (also, you can use your guitar controller to play the keyboard parts). With more than 80 songs that comes packing on the disk and massive downloadable songs, you’ll have countless of hours with this game.
