We got the usual game releases where we see a nostalgic title brought back to life for the Wii and the PSP seeing one of Sony’s biggest franchise back in the handheld. Oh, I guess something is coming out on Thursday that has some camera think that you “kinect” to your Xbox 360. So what are y’all waiting for? Check after the jump to see if there is anything coming out that will make your wallets cry!
James Bond 007: GoldenEye
The GoldenEye story comes to life once again with an updated single player storyline featuring Daniel Craig as Bond and written by Bruce Feirstein, the screenwriter for the original movie. Surprise enemies covertly or engage in a full on firefight and use Bond’s latest gadget to uncover intel in augmented reality as you relive all the classic GoldenEye movie moments. Infiltrate the dam and destroy the facility; chase Ourumov in the tank through the streets of St. Petersburgh; and investigate the secret jungle base.
Nintendo is doing what it does best recreating old games and banking on gamers nostalgia. It seems they have done a good job to bring this title back to life and one version of the game comes bundle with the Classic Controller Pro painted gold in honor of the lovable golden gun.
God of War: Ghost of Sparta
Set within the shadowy realm of Greek mythology, God of War: Ghost of Sparta allows players to take on the role of the powerful and iconic Spartan warrior Kratos. This new adventure for PSP picks up after the events of the original God of War game for PS2 conclude, telling the story of Kratos’ ascension to power as the God of War. Yet this rise is not without its consequences. In his quest to rid himself of the nightmares that haunt him, Kratos must embark on a journey that will reveal the origins of lost worlds, and finally answer long-awaited questions about his dark past. Armed with the deadly chained Blade weapons, he will have to overcome armies of mythological monsters, legions of undead soldiers, and amazingly dangerous and brutal landscapes throughout his merciless quest.
Sony’s pissed off spartan/god is back on the PSP. The action adventure improves from the first game so that gamers can get their Kratos fix on the go. There is also a limited edition pack that includes a sweet black/red PSP, 2GB memory stick, both God of War PSP games, and the Kick-Ass film.
