Score one for girl power! Recently, Lynda Carter who was made mega famous by her role as Wonder Woman in the 70’s had something to say about Ms. Megan Fox who trashed the beloved character. Now this may not be such a big deal if Fox wasn’t being considered for the role of Wonder Woman for an upcoming tv series that is being developed by David E. Kelley (The Practice, Ally McBeal) with Warner Bros, backing it. . Fox had some nasty things to say about the woman who donned the red, white and blue. Hamilton announced on live tv that Megan Fox,
“actually kind of trashed Wonder Woman” last year. “She said she thought it was dumb, like ‘what’s the big whoop making people tell the truth.’ I like her, I just thought she shouldn’t trash Wonder Woman.”
Now granted Fox is only doing small screen things right now, like Armani Ads but she would definitely be fitting for the role. However, should someone who’s publicly made fun the character be allowed to play it? Also, do you think this project could be successful? Deadline Hollywood writer Nellie Andreeva point out,
Warner Bros TV has brought DC characters to the small screen before: most recently with the CW’s Superman-themed Smallville, which is in its 10th and final season.
