What an opening weekend for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1!
Not only did it make $24 million from midnight screening on Friday, but according to sources, it made over $125 million on its opening weekend in North America. And if you factor in its global release, it made over $330 million!
It beat the opening weekend of the previous movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by 25 per cent.
Not a bad haul for a teenage wizard, eh?
The next, and final movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 opens worldwide on July 15, 2011.
