RENT

Buried

Buried

Paul Conroy is not ready to die. But when he wakes up six feet underground with no idea of who put him there or why, life for the truck driver and family man instantly becomes a hellish struggle for survival. Buried with only a cell phone and a lighter, his contact with the outside world and ability to piece together clues that could help him discover his location are maddeningly limited. Poor reception, a rapidly draining battery, and a dwindling oxygen supply become his worst enemies in a tightly confined race against time; fighting panic, despair and delirium, Paul has only ninety minutes to be rescued before his worst nightmare comes true.

Directed by Rodrigo Cortés (The Contestant)

Want a film that will push the claustrophobia envelop? Well, this film will do it for you for an hour and a half. While the film may not be for everyone, especially for those folks who have a sense of fear, we do get a thriller that Hitchcock would be proud of. As far as extras goes, it only comes with a making of feature thus making this an easy RENT.

Dark Skies: The Declassified Complete Series

DS-DCS

On July 2, 1947, a spacecraft of unknown origin crashed in the New Mexico desert outside Roswell Army Air Base. Four bodies, known as the Grays, were recovered. From that moment on, everything you think to be true about American history has been influenced by that event. On February 17, 1962, another event occurred, related to the first, but one that has, until now, been kept completely suppressed. You are being trusted with that secret.

In 1996, television audiences were introduced to John Loengard (Eric Close) and Kimberly Sayers (Megan Ward), two heroic freedom fighters charged with the unearthly task of protecting humanity against an alien infestation known as the Hive while showing us, through their own experiences and actions, the truth behind our own recent past. Call it alternative history or call it the unthinkable truth. Either way, call it Dark Skies.

Extras include: Cast & Creator Commentaries; Signal To Noise: Uncovering Dark Skies – An intimate three-part look back with creators Bryce Zabel & Brent V. Friedman and stars Eric Close & Megan Ward; The Dark Skies Glossary – Bryce Zabel & Brent V. Friedman define the important terms of Dark Skies and UFO lore; Network Promos; Original Sales Presentation; A Never-Before-Seen Proposal For Season 2; And more!

For some folks, this is your X-Files and after almost being released 4 years ago, only for it to be canceled due to “music licensing issues,” fans finally get their hands on the complete series of this show. Not only do you get all 18 episodes, it comes packing with a nice set of extras that should (hopefully) make up for all the waiting you fans had to endure.

Available: 6 Disk DVD Set
