But in a world of both tenderness and terror, how can you invite in the one friend who may unleash the ultimate nightmare?

Directed by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, The Pallbearer)
What’s this? An American remake that folks really liked, why yes it is. Based on the Swedish film, Let The Right One In, does something with the vampire genre. With the great acting and a good story, this makes the film worth checking out and with the good set of extras that it comes with, makes it a purchase that is worthwhile.
Six years ago NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A probe was launched to collect samples, but crashed upon reentry over Central America. Soon after, new life forms began to appear and half of Mexico was quarantined as an INFECTED ZONE. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain the creatures … Our story begins when a U.S. journalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through the infected zone to the safety of the U.S. border.
Starring: Scoot McNairy, Whitney Able
Directed by Gareth Edwards (Upcoming Godzilla 2012 film)
You may have not heard about this film as it only had a limited run here in the US but has been making a name for itself across the pond. While the synopsis of the film doesn’t sound to original or new but it does a good job telling the story, not to mention, it has a twist. Also, it is said that because of this film, Gareth Edwards got the job to direct the upcoming American Godzilla remake, so this will be your chance to check his work out.
Starring: Danielle Harris, Kane Hodder, Tony Todd
Directed by Adam Green (Spiral, Hatchet)
While this fans of the first film will probably be satisfy with this sequel, but for the rest of us who may have not watched the first film or wasn’t a fan after the first one can easily PASS on this title.
*NerdBastards’ DVD Tuesday feature only list certain releases that may have some interest for our audience and thus why it doesn’t list all releases as we are sure that you wouldn’t care for those.*
