Some of the best news ever was released today, and we here at NB just had to share it with you.  Nickelodeon owns a network that was formerly called The N and is now called TeenNick.  On this channel, from midnight to 2am, they will be airing some of our favorite shows from the 90’s.  The title of this post was misleading because I like to break hearts.  Salute Your Shorts isn’t yet scheduled to make an appearance.  But…

Slated to make their small screen return are Clarissa Explains It All, Rugrats, Kenan & Kel, Pete & Pete, The Amanda Bynes Show and All That. It’s a great lineup of shows that are sure to bring nostalgia to the group of people aged 20-30 who are going to adore this new move.  TeenNick has also said that they plan to put on other shows and movies from the 90’s as well, so you can be on the lookout for more retro stuff.

Personally I find it an affront to nature that they didn’t bring back Salute Your Shorts or Are You Afraid of the Dark as their first choices, but fingers crossed that those shows will make an appearance later on.  Don’t tell me you didn’t love sitting there as a little crotchling waiting for SNICK to come on!!

What shows are you wanting to see return to television?  Are your favorites on this list?  Let us know.  In the meantime, here is a little video to whet your appetite.
