Holy merciless mammaries Batfans, did you here about ‘Batman: Arkham City‘ yet? No, well then lace up your boots, put on that cape and strap on that utility belt; the sequel to Arkham Asylum is locked in. After months of teasing screenshots and ass kicking trailers the sequel to the smash Batman video game from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment finally has a release date. Just when is the gritty world of Gotham city’s criminal underbelly going to get bataranged onto consoles this year?
Riddle me this…
Developed by Rocksteady Studios, Batman: Arkham City is ready for a release at various points during the month of October 2011. Being released October 18th in North America, Australia on October 19th and in Europe and the remainder of the world on October 21st. The game will be a cross-platform release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC (the Wii can’t handle the Bat).
Building off the success of it’s predecessor this sequel will expand on everything from Asylum, bringing in expanded gameplay features as well co-op gameplay. Taking the experience from the first game and making it 5x larger is going to not only expand your experience, it’s gonna mean you’ll be spending a bit more time in your very own Batcave surrounded by cans of Pepsi and Doritos. No longer are you facing the rogue gallery of villians in a jail cell, the home of Gotham’s criminally insane is now an entire section of one of DC’s most recognizable cities. New game, same Batman, more bitch slapping from the god damn Batman. It’s gonna be EPIC!
