Whoa nerdbastards, two top 10 lists in one day? Oh how you spoil us. Hey, anything to make your day a little more lush.

Let’s be honest, on St Patrick’s Day you may fool yourself into thinking your celebrating your Irish history (or pretending you have one) but you’re really just looking to get drunks. Haha, you lushes. I knew it. But if you’re getting drunk you should get drunk the geeky way with these ten sci-fi, video game and comic book inspired mixed drinks. Some of them are even green! How festive.

The Princess Leia

• 1/2 shot Bombay Sapphire gin
• 1/2 shot VeeV Acai liquor
• Champagne

In a champagne flute, add the VeeV and Sapphire, stir, then top off glass with your sparkling wine or champagne of choice.

Metroid Cocktail

• 1/2 shot Bacardi Big Apple Rum
• 1/2 shot Coconut Rum
• 1/2 glass Kiwi Strawberry Minute Maid (or Kool-Aid)
• A little less than 1/2 a glass Sprite
• 3 Strawberries

Shake the two rums and Kiwi Strawberry Minute Maid and pour into a lowball glass. Add the Sprite for a bit of flavor and carbonation. Drop in three strawberries as a garnish. If you choose, you can use your ice beam freezer to cool the alcohol before you make the drink.

The Incredible Hulk

• 2 oz. Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum
• 1tbsp Sugar
• 2 L bottle of Mountain Dew

Add the Captain Morgan to a glass with sugar, then add Mountain Dew until the mix turns green.

Romulan Ale

• 1 1/2 oz White rum
• 1 oz Blue Curacao
• 7-Up
• 6 drops Tabasco sauce

Mix all ingredients together. Pour into a tall, narrow glass. Add a grain of salt.

Sonic the Hedgehog

• 1 part grenadine
• 2 parts Menthomint Schnapps
• 4 parts Blue Curacao

Pour in the grenadine first. Then layer the Mentholmint schnapps and Blue Curacao on top, in that order. Take it down faster than the Blue Blur himself.

Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster

• 2 oz Vodka
• 1 oz Triple sec
• 1/2 oz Grenadine
• Pineapple juice
• 7-Up or Slice

Fill Collins glass with ice. Add 2 oz. of vodka and 1 oz. triple sec. Fill glass almost to the top with pineapple juice, add Grenadine for color, and top off the glass with 7-Up or Slice. Shake or stir until the drink turns a light orange-pink color.

The Dark Knight

• 1-1/2 oz. Sambuca
• 4 oz. Cola
• 1/2 oz. Homemade Grenadine
• Maraschino Cherry Garnish

Build in a highball glass over ice, topping off with grenadine as float. Garnish with maraschino cherry.

The 1-Up Shot

• 1 part Melon Bols
• 1 part Vodka
• 1 part Milk
• Whipped cream
• Green frosting

Mix first three ingredients into shot glass. Place whipped cream tuft on top, then add dots of green frosting.

The Wonder Woman

• 2 oz. Midori melon liqueur
• 2 oz. Peach schnapps
• 3 oz. Orange juice
• 1 oz. Pineapple juice
• 2 oz. Cranberry juice

Fill hurricane glass with ice. Add ingredients in order listed. Don’t stir! Should have three layers; green, orange, and red. Garnish with a cherry.

Sissy Klingon

• 1 shot Flor de Caña rum
• 1/2 shot Raspberry Pucker
• 1/2 shot Bombay Sapphire gin
• Cherry Bomb Jolt

Mix the booze together in a shaker and pour over ice. Add the Jolt to taste

Warp Pipe

• 3/4 shot Blue Curacao
• 1/2 bottle Mike’s Hard Limeade
• 1/2 shot Bols Melon
• 1/2 Lime (cut into wedges)

Cut your half a lime into four wedges. Squeeze the lime juice into a highball glass and then drop them in the bottom. Add some ice overtop the limes, then pour in the Blue Curacao. Add the Mike’s Hard Limeade until the glass is almost full, then top with your Bols Melon. Stir a bit with a straw and enjoy. Tip: make sure you don’t add too much Bols Melon, or the melon flavor will overpower the lime.
