Stuff You Want, Things You Need & Everything You Can’t Have! “For the Ladies” – By Guest Writer Eric Kwun of igeektrooper.com
Welcome bastards to a new installment of “Stuff You Want, Things You Need, & Everything You Can’t Have” by yours truly, Eric aka geektrooper. I’m back to inform you about some of the awesome goods out on the market for your collecting pleasure. I know I have been bombarding your faces with statues and toys of all kind over the last month and I wanted to take this time to change it up a bit and dedicate this weeks “Stuff You Want…” for the lovely ladies!
Item: ‘Star Wars: The Old Republic’ Shae Vizla Bust
Do not say “girls” don’t collect statues because they do. Some of the most hardcore collectors are women and some of their collection will put your collection and mine to shame. So, it’s fitting to spotlight the Sith’s favorite Mandalorian bounty hunter ginger, Shae Vizla. As hot and deadly she is in ‘Star Wars: The Old Republic’, Gentle Giant did a pretty awesome job recreating her beauty as a statue. From what I have seen, female Star Wars geeks are raving about her already. Shae Vizla bust will be available in November 2011 for around 60 bucks.

For the ladies that like to hit the town, your favorite ‘Star Wars’ tee might be out of the picture. Just to “geek out” your little black dress, why not accessorize with some awesome Imperial logo earrings from Her Universe. The charms measure at ½ inch in diameter and made of oxidized bronze (sterling silver for the hooks), these are fashionable and safe. Make a statement and get fashionable with the Dark Side. These earrings are back in stock for 25 bucks!

Item: ‘Star Wars’ Boba Fett Underwear Set
Okay, so this is the third Star Wars item on this list, but you have to admit that they make some cool stuff for the ladies. Up next is another Her Universe product. For any female fan of “The Fett”, these are must have. In the “Boba Fett underwear set”, you get yourself a cool red fitted tank sporting the mark of the Mandalorian (made famous by Boba Fett) and a cute pair of “classic underoos” with the words “I Have a Boba Fett-ish” with a super- deformed version of our favorite bounty hunter. The set goes for $35.

Item: Classic ‘Wonder Woman’ “DC Comics x nOir Collection” Necklace
A few weeks ago, I featured some Batman bling from nOir Jewelry. Well, it seems like a good time to revisit some of nOir’s impressive and expensive jewelry. With all the news regarding a new Wonder Woman TV series and themed MAC cosmetics, Wonder Woman products are hot right now. So it’s not crazy that nOir created a classic Wonder Woman logo necklace that costs $225! Made of solid brass and plated in gold, the Wonder Woman logo is drizzled in cubic zirconia stones and accented with red enamel. Trust me. If you were this, people will notice.

Item: Customized Comic Book Themed Shoes
My wife loves “flats” so I know how comfortable they are (because she tells me…). Etsy seller, NatalieFaye1031 creates some cool customized comic book themed flats to your preference. Whether you are a fan of Iron Man, Batman, Green Lantern, or the Flash, she can get these made to your liking. Unfortunately, due to the fact that they are handmade, they will cost you 55 bucks a pair. For $15 more, she can also do high-heeled shoes. Seems like a great idea for when you go out to a SDCC party at the Gaslamp. I think I should order some Stormtrooper flats for my wife. HA!

Item: “Storm Kitty” White Acrylic Necklace
Shoot. I’m a dude and I think this is pretty rad. From Etsy seller, hellowars comes a simple, but elegant mash-up of Hello Kitty and Stormtroopers from ‘Star Wars’ (Okay, this is considered ½ a Star Wars item…). “hellowars” has a lot of Star Wars Kitty stickers for sale, but this is the only piece of jewelry I have seen. The laser cut charm measures at 1 inch wide (kind a small, but cute) and the charm hangs off a sterling silver ball chain. All this can be yours for only $24!

Item: “I Want to Bathe” Soap
When I first saw this soap go up at my friend Kylee Lane’s site, the first thing that went into my head was “X-Files”. Made me go back and remember the “I Want to Believe” poster hanging in Fox Mulder’s basement office. It was hard to get that creepy poster of a flying saucer hovering over a forest out of my head. Maybe that’s why I had to talk about this soap. Measuring at 3 inches in diameter and weighing at 3 ounces, this extraterrestrial soap is a steal at $3.99 a bar. Plus, its Earth friendly, animal safe, completely awesome, and will make you smell really good. I WANT TO BELIEVE!
I hope the ladies liked my picks and hopefully I can do another edition of “For the Ladies” in the near future! Until the next installment of “Stuff You Want…”, you can catch me on Twitter (@geektrooper) and at my blog, igeektrooper.com! Geektrooper, out.
