Bradley Cooper has been very busy lately. Limitless was a box-office hit, his first solo role. And Hangover 2 is right around the corner (with a monkey). His career is on this constant up-and-up, and what better time to take another starring role? He’s being eyed for something that has history and was a cult phenomenon for it’s time. This is a movie that has the unfortunate stigma of ending a career tragically, but became a hit even after the death of its star, Brandon Lee. I don’t even have to go any further, you already know what I’m talking about: 1994’s The Crow.

The film would see Cooper play a rock musician who is murdered while trying to save his fiancée from thugs. He is resurrected by supernatural forces and seeks revenge. Don’t get your hopes up too soon, as The Hangover star is still in early negotiations to star in the remake directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (who for some odd reason makes me crave tacos).
The new film is being produced by Edward R. Pressman, Jeff Most, Relativity Media’s CEO Ryan Kavanaugh and Apaches Entertainment’s Enrique Lopez Lavigne and Belen Atienza.
With production slated to start in the Fall, this could be an opportune time for Bradley to sign on and capture the hearts of
fat goth girls everywhere.
