Nerd Art Stock Pile: Han Shoots George Lucas, Ultra Realistic TMNT, Super Hero ABC’s, Mario Pits of Despair, Apple Zombies and MORE
Nerd Art Stock Pile? There’s a lot of nerd art on the net. Mostly it’s fan-fiction tentacle Pr0n, but hey we’re not complaining. We see so much neato art work on a daily basis, but for whatever reason they don’t make it to the front page of Nerd Bastards. We’re either lazy, or a piece of stand alone artwork isn’t enough to warrant a full post. Mostly we’re lazy. But, who are we to rob you of this net glory? We’re bastards but we’re not assholes. So here’s a roundup of the latest Nerd Art; intended for eye masturbation purposes.
First up comes the animation art style of Nerd Bastards resident illustrator Blake Stevenson (he did our logo and some other cool shit). His latest piece (pictured above) addresses the infamous retcon of the Han Shot first scene from ‘A New Hope’. Like his art says “We both know what happened that day”. You can see more of Blakes work on his site jetpackandrollerskates.com. I suggest you check out Naked Joss Whedon in S&M Gear Riding Riding Kevin Smith with Bacon Wings?! Which was inspired from my own twisted mind.

Whoa! Say hello to Jason Heuser. He’s like the glamor shot illustrator of pop culture. Rendering full-body characters with a dark, grounded in reality aesthetic. With movie-ready, cover worthy, quality. Take Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for example. His turtles and villains Beebop and Rocksteady anthropomorphic and bestial attributes are astonishingly well balanced. His shit is just mad believable. He’s also got a thing for making American history cool. George Washington liberating some zombies for existence.
Heuser shares his stuff on deviantART, and if you love American history or the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, you need do your eyes a favor and check out his gallery.

The last time I had to recite my ABC’s was when I got pulled over that one time. I was suspected of being “under the influence” (which I was). Saying your ABC’s backwards is no easy task, but had I associated the letters with superheroes I would have not got arrested and kicked in the head like Rodney King. Anyways, check out artist Lishoffs (aka Fabian Gzlez), best known for his charts of minimalist superheroes/supervillains/video game characters, who is back at it, this time with the superhero ABC’s. Can you name them all?
Ever wonder whats really at the bottom of those pits in Super Mario Bros.? I’ll tell you what, it’s not candy and rainbows. Here is artist Dash Coleman’s concept of what’s waiting for everyone’s favorite plumber at the bottom of every one of those gaping holes. For more warped fun (see what I did there) hit up Dash’s Flickr Gallery.
This is what you get when you mash up your love of Star Wars and an unhealthy obsession over Angry Birds.

Are you an Apple fanboy/girl? Well, artist Jesse Lenz captures how the rest of the world sees your mindless asses.
What do super heroes and villains do in their down time? I always thought they snorted coke off hooker tits, but artist Jesse Lonergan likes to think they get their dance groove on. In this gallery via unrealitymag you’ll see a bunch of comic cook characters struttin’ their stuff.
Lastly we have some uncredited street art featuring AT-AT and AT-ST Walkers found courtesy of geekysaresexy
