Nerd Art Stock Pile: Zombie Star Wars, Buzz Light Year of Mars, Wookie the Chew, Punkified Video Game Princesses, Skeletor Saves and MORE
Nerd Art Stock Pile? There’s a lot of nerd art on the net. Mostly it’s fan-fiction tentacle Pr0n, but hey we’re not complaining. We see so much neato art work on a daily basis, but for whatever reason they don’t make it to the front page of Nerd Bastards. We’re either lazy, or a piece of stand alone artwork isn’t enough to warrant a full post. Mostly we’re lazy. But, who are we to rob you of this net glory? We’re bastards but we’re not assholes. So here’s a roundup of the latest Nerd Art; intended for eye masturbation purposes.
It’s a known fact that Zombies make everything better. It’s true. Such as the case with Star Wars. Just look at Billy Tackett’s one-sheet titled ‘Star Wars: A New Corpse’ (pictured above). As you can see this piece features Luke, Leia and Darth Vader in the original movie poster set up but all zombified. Don’t you dare tell me that a ghoulish version of Star Wars as depicted here wouldn’t be amazeballs? Oh, random sick thought. Zombie Leia kissing Zombie Luke. That’s incest necrophilia. eh, still no where as disturbing as the fat on George Lucas’s neck.

HIT THE JUMP for Buzz Light Year of Mars, Wookie the Chew, Punkified Video Game Princesses, Skeletor Saves and MORE
Agent Melon, some gender confused artist (remains noncommittal in the male/female field) on deviantART has rendered a few adult, alternative looks to some of pop cultures favorite fictional ladies.
As much as I enjoy the original character designs for each of these ladies…I almost prefer their punk version. Makes them seem kind of dangerous. I like it.
See Agent Melon’s full gallery at deviantArt.
Nothing about this “Skeletor Saves” art by Gnargleboy makes any sense. Skeletor never died, he wasn’t a prophet, he wasn’t worshiped by his followers, he wasn’t christ-like in any way. Regardless, I want this tattooed on my back.
Five Street Fighter legends take on rad animal form in this fan art piece by Chie Yamamoto Boyd. FIGHT! Side note: Why’s E. Honda gotta be a pig? I know he’s a fat Asian and everything but that’s discrimination.
Howl’s Moving Castle was written by Diana Wynne Jones in 1986 that was later adapted into a culturally belowev movie by Hayao Miyazaki. It’s the tits. Now, if you have nine months and infinite patience and skills, you too can make an intricate replica of Howl’s Moving Castle out of paper! Reddit user Dreamparacite is responsible for this awesomeness and has been kind enough to put the plans online in a PDF download in case you wanted to try making your own. Ya, good luck with that.
Pixar’s Andrew Stanton is directing John Carter of Mars. So naturally it begs the question of what it might look like if various characters from those films crossed over into that world. Here’s what artist Draw2D2 dreamt up. He’s got Buzzlight Year, The Incredibles kicking evil martians ass. If this were a children’s book, I would totally buy it.
Admittedly , I haven’t gotten into the ‘Fable’ video game franchise yet. But it’s in my To-Do list. In the mean time I’ll simply gawk at this collection of Fables 3 poster art from Albion products and propaganda created by artist Mike McCarthy, a concept artist who worked on the game. Apparently, these posters are prevalent throughout the game. Neato styles, designs and entertaining messages.
thanks for GeekTyrant for rounding this up.
