Welcome bastards to a new installment of “Stuff You Want, Things You Need, & Everything You Can’t Have” by yours truly, Eric aka geektrooper. I’m back to inform you about some of the awesome goods out on the market for your collecting pleasure. It seems that a lot of companies are starting to make plush again and with that, I’m going to show you some of the coolest plushes out there!

Okami Chibiterasu Plush

Item: Okami: Chibiterasu Plush by Sota

Damn this bastard is cute! Straight out of the hit video game, Okami comes a ten inch Chibiterasu plush. Trust me. You may not have played Okami, but people adore Chibiterasu. Sota did a pretty awesome job of creating the young son god in plush form and unlike the Okami plushes in Japan, this one won’t cost you an arm and a leg. You can pick one up for only $20.99 and they are available now! By the way… there’s also a Chibiterasu pillow!

Star Wars X-Wing Fighter Super Deformed Vehicle Plush

Item: Star Wars: X-Wing Fighter Super-Deformed Vehicle Plush by Comic Images

It was bound to happen. I figured sooner than later, but it cool to see it finally out. Comic Images has been making some cute super-deformed plushes for Star Wars for quite some time now, and for once, they are tackling the ultra-cool vehicles of the Star Wars universe. These are pretty awesome because the super deformed design makes it appealing to little children and adults. The first series will include the X-Wing, Millennium Falcon, and the Imperial AT-AT. Each will go for $12.99 and will be out in June.

Iron Man 7-Inch Plush

Item: Iron Man: Funko Plush by Funko

Funko (who makes all those bobble heads you see at conventions) already has a hit on their hands with their DC Comic and Lord of the Rings plush collection. Now, they are releasing their first wave of Marvel plushes which includes Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America, and Thor. Standing at seven inches, these plushes are based on Funko’s original design which makes them much more unique than your standard Marvel superhero plushes. The best part is that girls find them quite cute. My wife loves her. Each of these Marvel Funko plushes are only $12.99 and available now!

Item: Green Lantern (Movie): Hal Jordan Plush by NECA

No matter how much I based on the Green Lantern movie, it seems people are still convinced that it will be good. Maybe I’ll be wrong, but who knows at this point. I guess NECA wants in on the Green Lantern action as they created a super-deformed version of Hal Jordan. Good thing its super-deformed because it looks nothing like Ryan Reynolds. The movie plush features the movie Green Lantern costume and lantern. Standing at ten inches, this plush will be out in May and will cost you $14.99. There’s also a plush for Sinestro, if you care about that kind of stuff.

Futurama Series 1 Bender Plush

Item: Futurama: Bender Series One Plush by Toynami

These plushes are so full of win, I do not know where to start. Toynami has well known for making Skelanimals plushes for many years now and they are finally taking their skills and putting it to the test with a series of Futurama plushes. If you didn’t know, Toynami also makes those awesome Futurama action figures as well. It looks like “super-deformed” is really popular because these have the same treatment as well and from the looks of it, they are selling like hot cakes. Series one includes Bender, Dr. Zoidberg, and Nibbler and they will go for $24.99 each.

Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, or Hermione Granger plush monsters

Item: Harry Potter: Harry Potter and Friends Monster Plush by telahmarie

Straight out of Etsy comes an odd, but cute set of handmade Harry Potter plushes by telahmarie. Standing at almost nine inches, these “monster” plushes of Ron Weasley, Harry Potter, and Hermoine Granger are the perfect plushes to have for the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II. I don’t remember ever seeing any good Harry Potter plushes out there so these are perfect for any Potter fan. Each plush will run you about $17.00.

Now this is one cash cow – or should I say, cash bird, that needs to be milked for all it is worth while still possible? I’m talking about the Angry Birds franchise, where you will now be able to carry those pesky avian friends in the comfort of your bosom while letting out their signature sound – sans the creaking of the catapult, of course.

The 5″ Angry Birds Plush with Sound can be triggered simply by tapping its forehead, and you can choose from birds or pigs – subject to availability, of course. These are soft and hand-washable plushes, and are actually officially licensed Rovio (Angry Birds) products. At $9.99 a pop, they aren’t exactly cheap nor expensive, but you might just want to hurl it at your mate or friend during one of those more boring moments at home.

Mega Chain Chomp bean bag - Mario Bros - THIS ITEM IS MADE TO ORDER - ALLOW 4 WEEKS FOR COMPLETION

Item: Super Mario Bros.: Mega Chain Chomp Bean Bag Chair Plush by LiyoLabs

I think this might be one of the coolest piece of furniture you can buy for any bachelor/bachelorette gamer pad. This giant twenty eight inch bean bag chair is handmade and made to take a beating. One of the best things about it is how awesome the eyes and teeth look on this bean bag chair. The only problem is that it will cost you $100 in which it will take the seller four weeks to make it, and you will have to ship it in from Australia. If you’re patient enough and have money to burn, I recommend you get this.

This has to be the cutest fucking thing ever. A tiny Gandalf plushy? Look at those cute beady little offset eyes. Oh man they are peering into my soul, right now. I need to bring him home immediately. On a side note, I think in an attempt to make the Orc cute they accidentally made a Kif (of Futurama) plush. By clicking their names you too can pick up your very own snuggly version of Frodo, Gandalf, Legolas and Kif..sorry an Orc!

That is it for this week! Until the next installment of “Stuff You Want…”, you can catch me on Twitter (@geektrooper) and at my blog, igeektrooper.com! Geektrooper, out.
