This season of Doctor Who has really started off with a bang, and the great thing is, it’s only warming up. Next episode is written by acclaimed author and beloved nerd, Neil Gaiman. Who is Neil Gaiman you ask? Well, first a pox on you for even asking the silly question, and secondly he’s only penned: the comic book series The Sandman, Stardust, American Gods, Coraline, and The Graveyard Book to name a few.

Turning his prowess with prose to Doctor Who, his episode “The Doctor’s Wife” premieres this Saturday, May 14th and does it look creepy and confusing! Nothing too spoiler-y in these clips, just the good little teases we’re used to from the BBC. The first one is Arthur Darvill and Karen Gillan chatting about the episode in the Tardis with a small bit of Gaiman reading a snippet from the script. Then the episode’s trailer and a clip. Enjoy, and please share any of your speculating in the comments. The Doctor has a wife? How is he receiving a message from a Time Lord? Is all Time Lord mail delivered via companion cube?
