FOX is trying really hard to get you to like X-Men: First Class. (A) It’s one of the only remaining comic book movies they have the rights to (Marvels taken almost everything back). (B) It’s the summer of super heroes (Thor, Green Lantern, Captain America) , they gotta push to stand apart. And push they have. Fuckers (and I say fuckers ’cause it’s, ya know, FOX) have released a 9th and 10th TV spot for X-Men: First Class, along with a new film clip in which Beast is introduced to the other X-Men team for the first time.
While I enjoying watching these clips, I feel like I’ve seen one too many. Honestly, I might as well have seen the movie by now. It’s a bit over kill. They need to hold off on releasing anymore of these. Let us breath a bit, ya know.
Anyway check out the spots and clips below:
20th Century Fox is going to release X-Men: First Class on June 1st.
X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to prevent nuclear Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men
