CLIPS! New ‘Harry Potter 7.2’ TV Spot, ‘Walking Dead’ Season 2 Behind-the-Scenes & Promo Trailer for ‘Green Lantern: The Animated Series’
There is so much awesome on the geek horizon at the moment it’s hard to keep your head on straight. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 opens July 15th, The Walking Dead Season 2 premieres this October and Green Lantern: The Animates Series begins end of 2011. And today we’ve got a preview for each one. You’ve hit clip jackpot.
It’s less than a month now until Harry’s last adventure and who else is getting chills? Every clip and trailer I see only gets me more pumped for what looks like one hell of an epic showdown. This latest TV spot will only amplify your excitement. Remember the snippet of wizard fighting we saw in the fifth film? I’m expecting that, times a hundred.

The Walkind Dead‘s second season is still months away but with filming happening now AMC has been kind enough to share some behind-the-scenes footage. You know, just in case you weren’t already frothing at the mouth for more of their hit zombies series.
This video from their first day of filming doesn’t give much away plot wise or even the direction they’re planning to go. We can see they’re on an abandoned highway with lots of cars blocking their way. Managing their way through sections of uncleared road was a reoccurring issue in the books so expect to see this hurdle show up more than once. Otherwise, Atlanta looks hot and miserable, sucks to be them.
Obviously hoping to get some oomph from a recently released feature film (Psst. By chance did you read my review?) Green Lantern: The Animates Series is the latest cartoon from DC and Warner Bros. Animation. It’s coming to Cartoon Network late this year and the short promo here gives a sneak peak at the animated action.
I feel like this trailer really wants you to know Hal Jordan is the Green Lantern. John Stewart or Guy Gardner, forget about those guys, we only featured them regularly in our other animated programs (Justice League, Batman The Brave and the Bold) to confuse you. What I am excited for with this series is seeing more adventure off Earth. The best part of the Green Lantern comic book series, and the new movie, are the aliens. Hal Jordan, you’re boring, but whom, may I ask, are all your fascinating friends?
