Original $10 Million Superman Returns Opening Sequence

Normally scenes get cut all the time from movies, it’s a fact of the business. When that scene is the opener for the entire movie and costs $10 million dollars that’s another story. The new Superman Anthology Bly-ray/DVD set happens to include opening sequence for Bryan Singer‘s Superman Returns, which apparently cost $10 million dollars to produce, and that my friends is a lot more then these 5 mins of film should actually be worth.

Cardboard Super Hero Costumes

We use cardboard for everything -but mainly to store old comics or playboys until they need to get “used” again. Not many people though take said cardboard and turn them into geniusly crafted cardboard superhero/villains. They were made by Flickr user nikejerk3 and his friends. To see everything check out the artist’s Flickr page.

Dark Knight Rises Teaser Animated

By now you’ve watched the trailer to Batman: The Dark Knight Rises by either watching the bootleg, or thinking smart and watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2, but have you seen it animated? Captain Canuck Film Reportedly In Development

This looks like some sort of weird joke towards the citizens of the north but it’s actually sweeter then maple syrup and back bacon combined. Candaian comic book hero Captain Canuck has been optioned for a live action movie after the movie rights were bougtby Minds Eye Entertainment in an announcement made earlier today by Kevin DeWalt, CEO and President of Minds Eye. DeWalt reported that Minds Eye will work closely with Comely to develop the film.

DeWalt said:

“I have always been a big fan of CAPTAIN CANUCK, and we are honored to be working with Richard on bringing Canada’s greatest Superhero to the big screen.”

Creator and writer Richard Comely is just as excited for the partnership saying:

“I’ve had a great beginning with Minds Eye.  I’m confident we can make a movie that will appeal to audiences both in Canada and around the world.”

Now does the studio hire Chris Evans or Ryan Reynolds to play the maple defending super hero?
