Providing, you the reader, non-official images and set videos from Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises is a means to satisfying your Dark Knight cravings. It’s our pleasure to do so, but we cannot be accountable for reactions and commentary that is to ensue. We advise you look upon material with an impartial, subjective mind set. In other words, wait until the official stuff before you start shakin’ a stick, you whiny fan-boys.

Earlier this week we got our first “official” look at Anne Hathaway as Catwoman/Selina Kyle. Hathaway in full BDSM leather sitting atop Batman Batpod/cycle. The spelunking goggles (“the goggles do nothing!”) and fetish gear don’t exactly live up to what we expect Catwoman to look like (I.E. Cat ears, tail, whip…etc). With the lack of “cat” traits in the costume it is a wonder if this is indeed the final costume, or one step in the evolution of the character. Kinda like how Bruce Wayne was testing his base jumping gear in Batman Begins, maybe Selina Kyle is doing something similar. In my opinion, the design is Catwoman in-full. Especially knowing how Nolan keeps everything grounded in reality, shying away from anything tacky or comic-booky. This is it folks.

Anyway, with Hathaway crouched over the bat-pod it was hard to make out the full-costume. We did get some stunt set photos from the scene in question that gave us a better look, but it still still wasn’t enough to get a full sense of the costume. However, we now have, what could be, a full head-to-toe look of the cat (image above) courtesy of Just JaredDC Woman Kicking Ass on the other hand, have shown this to be a fake. Granted it does look to have a few Photoshop strokes to it, I have to say it looks pretty spot on to what we can make out from previous images. I’ll leave it to you to decide.

MORE AFTER THE JUMP

In other Catwoman talks, Batman-News received  a tip from a source claiming to know details about femme feline in The Dark Knight Rises. This is the description they received:

Catwoman is apparently one of the most well written characters we’ve seen in these movies so far and she could potentially steal the show the way Heath Ledger did last time. She does some cool stuff in the movie like jumping out of windows and stealing the Batpod. Her back story is that she has a history of abuse and works as a stripper and is also a pickpocket.

Batman-News when onto say how they received completely separate source informing them that Catwoman will be wearing a cowl at some point.

Moving on to another bat-bit, here’s a video that was recently filmed on location of at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh PA. In the scene we get to hear a little speech from Bane, portrayed by Tom Hardy.

Gotham, take control! Take control of your city! This, this is the instrument of your liberation…

Uh, first of all, I feel bad the kid who shot this video sat on his chips. I have done that all too many times, I feel his pain. Second. Bane sounds like he’s talking into a goatsie. Not that know what talking into a males stretched asshole sounds like *grumbles*. I did not expect Bane to sound like that. Then again, from what I read, Hardy said he cant speak properly with the mask. His voice will be remade in post production. Hopefully he’ll sound creepy, in a good way.

Here’s a description of what when down in the scene,

After Bane [Tom Hardy] blows up the football field [check my other video for the explosion scene] when 86 of the Gotham Rogues [Hines Ward] runs to make a touchdown after the kick off [this is what we were told was going on during filming] he comes out to address and strike fear in Gotham [us]. The raised part you see is whats suppose to be left of the football field. He comes out and pulls the microphone from the dead? ref [which is just a dummy] on the ground outside the tunnel where he comes out with his thugs and someone he has prisoner. He also drags out some big crazy device thats supposedly the means of our destruction….i’ll annotate what he says becuz honestly [and you can hear me and my friend laughin about it with the mask he had on, mixed with his accident, mixed with how he was doing the voice it sounded like an old man with a respirator on. Not sure if that has anything to do with Bane’s medical background and drug experiments.
