The Interwebz is a great place for nerdy art and the like. A lot of the time it’s fuckin’ weird shit like Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker comparing dicks and shit like that. But there are a lot of awesome things that we see on a daily basis, and we’re lazy nerd bastards so we just round them all up once a week for your nerdgasm glory.

We’ll start off this week with a piece by DeviantArtist 89g, of Batman and Superman going at it. I’ve got my money on Batman!

MOAR!

Both of the above pictures were created by Stanley Lau, who has actually done work for DC Comics, Square Enix, Capcom and more. The first piece of artwork features Supergirl in a pin-up style, and I’d say it’s actually better on the eyes than that “Superfox” picture. The second piece features Power Girl on a breezy day, enjoying some air flow in her suit. Oh, and her tits.

Mandryk is the mastermind behind this totally badass artwork of Tarzan taking down a huge ape.

Alex Pardee designed an extraordinary poster for a MiDNiTES FOR MANiACS and Edgar Wright event that will feature Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World on the 26th of August. The poster is a pretty fuckin’ awesome mashup of all of those movies with an Edgar Wright twist to it.

This fan-made poster for Spielberg’s Jaws was made by David O’Daniel. It’s fuckin’ gorgeous.

This piece features Superman flying over a beautifully done cityscape. Credit goes to Keron Grant.

Batgirl – One Size Fits All” (except her boobs) is a commissioned piece by Drunken Novice.

The Avengers are playing poker! This piece, by Bob Strang, has a very interesting artistic style to it. It’s called “Avengers Ante Up”. Wonder who’ll win?

Old, washed up, retired superheroes sitting on a bench — The Flash, Batman, Superman and Aquaman, in particular. Thanks to Bryan Lee for the laughs.

Marc and Louis Photography put together a photo series called “Dreaming of the Dark Side”.

The story is about a girl dreaming of the Darth Vader. You can see what happens when he doesn’t like a twi’lek lady flirting with him…

Check out the site for the rest of the series; it’s best viewed in sequence!

Another Mondo Tees poster for y’all! This one is of The Invisible Man, and is by Kevin Tong.

Sillof, the dude responsible for many of the custom made nerdy action figures in the past, is back at it with his new set of Star Warsfigures, called “Serial Wars”. It was inspired by the 1940’s sci-fi serials like Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers.

This is one of many pieces in a series by concept artist Lin Wenjun exploring a huge-scale fantasy battle, and it’s all goddamn amazing.
