Back to the Future 4: The Argentinian Adventure

Christopher Lloyd is clearly broke, or slowly slipping into senility. Probably both. He’s whored himself out to the Argentinians for some kind of viral commercial. The spot features Lloyd that is, Doc Brown appearing in the Back to the Future DeLorean, which promptly crashes into Garbarino, an electronics superstore.

First of all, how does Lloyd look exactly the same age as in BTTF? Holy poop that guy ages well. Second. Makes me wish this was a viral video for a Top Secret BTTF movie. Alas, it is not. But, seeing Lloyd back in character and driving the DeLorean is satisfying enough.

Here’s what the YouTube page offers (translated):

This is the HD video in the Delorean in Cabildo and Oath (FINAL COMPLETE VERSION). It’s full participation of all Christopher Lloyd (“DOC”, Emmet Brown). It was shot earlier today in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I share it with everyone because I had a hard time finding it. The other versions are not in this capacity and are not full versions. Seeing that we could imagine a Back To The Future IV. Will there be another one?

There’s this unofficial behind the scenes clip, too:

And Luke clearly lives up to the title ‘Bastard’ with his offensive remarks of ‘senility’ and ‘whoring.’   Disrespectful, hurtful, and shameful.

Luke Gallagher, you could not be more disrespectful and xenophobe. Your ethnocentric remark “He’s whored himself out to the Argentinians for some kind of viral commercial” is offensive to Argentina’s citizens and shameful for the nerd community who does not share your jingoistic perspective.
As an Argentinean (and totally nerd woman who grew up during the 80s), I was super thrilled when I saw this, overjoyed. If this was a commercial in the US (especially now that Nike released the Nike MAG shoes) nobody would mind, on the contrary! But because Christopher Lloyd is doing what most actors do for Pepsi/Coke/etc –when a movie becomes a cult symbol– in a foreign country [my country], then it becomes blasphemous. Are you serious, could you be more bigoted? Christopher Lloyd remains in his role as Doc Brown, which made him famous. He is being interviewed and makes fun of staying in Buenos Aires for some sexy tango (totally winning our porteños’ hearts). People in Argentina were thrilled with this commercial (and some attention by an iconic figure). It’s narrow-minded “nerds” like you who have to ruin the excitement with your feelings of supremacy. Shame.

I say if it pays his bills then good for him I mean we are not ever going to get the fourth back to the future movie so what harm is it to us I say none.  P.S.  Am a big Back to the Future fan and will always be and doc brown (aka)  Christopher Lloyd is my second favorite besides Marty Mcfly (aka) Michael J. Fox third is the dog Einstein but they had the worst luck in the third movie because personally I thought it was the lamest but the others rocked mf socks plus to be in a commercial like this is just laughable also i know that Christopher Lloyd was the voice of The Hacker on pbs’s Cyberchase and he played Uncle Fester in The Addams Family, and in The Addams Family Values and he played as Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit and the last one I can think of is he played Jim Ignatowski in the television series Taxi, plus many guest role’s he was in the newest is a Christmas Carol.  So he is not a bad type of person just old and making poor outcomes.
