Nerdy Bits, The Sh*t You Skipped: Samuel L. Jackson is Aquaman, Rogue Absorbs Cat Powers and Chris Hardwick Twilights Wil Wheaton
Every day the internet produces an astounding amount of goodies and gems. Most hilarious, some amusing, but all worth at least a few seconds of your time. We here at Nerd Bastards try to bring you the best bits of news and nerdery the webz has to offer, with a bit of snark thrown in. But sometimes not everything makes the cut.
Monday through Friday we’ll be bringing you our inbox leftovers, our forgotten bookmarks, the nerdy bits that simply slipped through the cracks. You can submit items to Nerdy Bits by emailing us at email@example.com.
This was that time I brought Wil Wheaton into my dark brood. I had to do it in order to ensure his survival when I chewed our baby out of his womb. Wait…whaaaa????
The builders of OneLug recreated the Last March of the Ents in LEGO. What have you done lately? They began the project in Febuary and 22,000 bricks later the master piece is complete. They took special care to be very faithful to the scenes as portray in Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy. They even included a burning Ent! Go to TDW: Geek for more images, including close-ups.
And if that wasn’t enough of a LEGO fix for today, TDW: Geek also has a gallery of famous photos, like the buns-baring tennis player above, all recreated LEGO, again, like above.
How cool and clever are these? Almost makes me want to run out and buy a Mac. I mean, more than I already wish I could. Sadly, these are just nifty mock-ups, not officially in-production. (TDW: Geek)
