Every day the internet produces an astounding amount of goodies and gems. Most hilarious, some amusing, but all worth at least a few seconds of your time. We here at Nerd Bastards try to bring you the best bits of news and nerdery the webz has to offer, with a bit of snark thrown in. But sometimes not everything makes the cut.

Monday through Friday we’ll be bringing you our inbox leftovers, our forgotten bookmarks, the nerdy bits that simply slipped through the cracks. You can submit items to Nerdy Bits by emailing us at nerdybits@nerdbastards.com.

If you had an incredible Skeksis costume from The Dark Crystal, what’s the best thing you could do with it? Scare the shit out of a co-worker? Yup. (The Mary Sue)

If you ever want to back and decorate me an epic birthday cake and need inspiration, just look above. (Neatorama)

Who else thinks Alfred is the best character in Arkham City? He totally needs a DLC of his own. I think he could kick ass when he needs to, I bet he’s lethal with a serving tray. (Dorkly)

Instead of his own DLC package Warner Bros., Rocksteady and Microsoft have joined forces to  bring you the Alfred search engine, powered by Bing. I hear he kicked the shit out of Jeeves and just took the position.

Even I, a devout DC fangirl, must admit Marvel is pwning them when it comes to feature films. I hold out hope DC still reigns as cartoon superhero king, but that Avengers cartoon is pretty kick ass, too. (Geek Dad)

Every time I think I’ve seen the best mashup the interwebz has to offer, they come up with something better. Seriously, Magic School Bus TARDIS? Genius! (I Heart Chaos)

Of course, one cannot simply Occupy Mordor. How I wish I clever enough to think of this first. Or even better this gem from Redditor, neightdog:

Seven for the Euro-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Americans doomed to die,
One Percent: the Dark Lords on their dark thrones
In the Land of Wall Street where the Shadows lie.
One Economy to rule them all, One Dow to find them,
One FED to bring them all and in their Poverty bind them;
In the Land of Wall Street where the Shadows lie.

To infini-titties and beyond! (TDW: Geek)
