Did you like the Clash of the Titans remake? Well congratulations… you are the 1%. Blargh! That crap fest was an unbearable, soulless, disaster. A perversion of literature and the very idea of storytelling. Regardless of my personal opinion and mass poo poo reviews, it’s getting a sequel, Wrath of the Titans, which is currently in production, set for a March 20th release. And now , as a sign of brass confidence, Warner Bros. is prepping for a 3rd flick. *Derp*
The brothers Warner have re-hired Wrath of the Titans scribes David Leslie (haha..Leslie) Johnson and Dan Mazue to write the script for the third installment, which will continue the journey (aka taking liberty with literature) of the character Perseus played by Sam Worthington.
This seems a bit preemptive, but I guess there is no wrong in getting all of their eggs in one basket in case the second one is successful. They just better hope the sequel is way better than the first and makes decent bank at the box office.
The first sequel is also set to star Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson, Danny Huston, Edgar Ramirez, Bill Nighy and Rosamund Pike and will be released in 3D and 2D theaters on March 30, 2012.
