Every day the internet produces an astounding amount of goodies and gems. Most hilarious, some amusing, but all worth at least a few seconds of your time. We here at Nerd Bastards try to bring you the best bits of news and nerdery the webz has to offer, with a bit of snark thrown in. But sometimes not everything makes the cut.

Monday through Friday we’ll be bringing you our inbox leftovers, our forgotten bookmarks, the nerdy bits that simply slipped through the cracks. You can submit items to Nerdy Bits by emailing us at nerdybits@nerdbastards.com.

This is cosplay done wonderfully right. At Comikaze Expo this weekend a scene from Jurassic Park was reenacted on the con floor, the raptor chase with Muldoon in the jeep. Complete with Samuel L. Jackson’s severed arm.

As if it couldn’t get better, the tables were turned when the raptor got hold of the jeep. Clever girl.

It could be just me, but as awesome as this R2-D2 MP4 player is I’m really weirded out about shoving C-3PO in my ears. (Nerd Approved)

Wow. It’s amazing what you can create with cardboard if you have the drive and the know-how. Who knew cardboard would so perfectly translate Mike Mignola’s work to the real world. (Fashionably Geek)

Election Day has come and gone. I hope you made the right choice. (Fashionably Geek)

Geek weddings can be some of the best nuptials around. Us nerds know how to make a special day even, umm, special-er. Take for instance the wedding of Superman and Harley Quinn — Wait, what? Yup, Supes and Harls tied the knot recently and you can see the wedding pics over at Geeks Are Sexy. No word on how Lois or the Joker are reacting.

While that cardboard Hellboy is pretty spectacular, this paper craft, 7ft tall Gundam is damn impressive. Yes, you read that right, this Gundam is made out of paper!

Exciting, exciting new! Think Geek, the purveyor of so much awesome, is creating a talking Cave Johnson portrait from Portal 2. This is real, not an early April Fool’s joke. The portraits will be available on December 17th, but I figure if you really, really want one you should camp out on the site a day or two before because you know these will sell out super fast. Check out the video below for samples of wisdom Cave can be throwing your way.

And yes, they’ve included the lemon quote. (Topless Robot)
