Every day the internet produces an astounding amount of goodies and gems. Most hilarious, some amusing, but all worth at least a few seconds of your time. We here at Nerd Bastards try to bring you the best bits of news and nerdery the webz has to offer, with a bit of snark thrown in. But sometimes not everything makes the cut.

Monday through Friday we’ll be bringing you our inbox leftovers, our forgotten bookmarks, the nerdy bits that simply slipped through the cracks. You can submit items to Nerdy Bits by emailing us at nerdybits@nerdbastards.com.

By now you might be tiring of the Muppets. I don’t really think that’s possible, so here’s a video of Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy answering some fan questions on Moviefone. You’ll be amazed by Miss Piggy’s impressive impressions! (The Mary Sue)

The casual pepper-spraying cop meme is out in full force, but this mashup with Assassin’s Creed is by far my favorite. Makes me think, one, that cop is still a complete douche, and two, pepper-spray would be a really effective tool for an assassin. DLC, maybe? (Nerd Approved)

I am a sucker for a good trailer mashup. Even if it’s two films I have ABSOLUTELY no interest in, I can’t deny a fantastic mashup when I see one. Presenting Mission Impossible: Chipwrecked. (Geek Tyrant)

Wow. This dude made a Diablo III costume in 32 hours of work after spending only $145 at Walmart. Materials used: Glue Sticks (2 Small Stick Packs, 3 Large Sticks Packs), Aluminum Foil (37 ft Heavy Duty), Poster Board (10 Sheets), Craft Foam (4 Foam 12 Packs), LED Lights (2 Batt. Operated Packs), C Batteries (6 Pack and 4 Pack), Paint (Black, Red, Orange, Yellow), Clear Coat Spray (2 Cans), Black Long Sleeve Shirt, Black Gloves (1 Pair).

I’m speechless. It’s amazing. (Fashionably Geek)

Something else to add to your holiday shopping list, this Zombie Survival Kit available at Think Geek.

How deliciously awesome does this look? Far superior to a simple gingerbread house, this gingerbread AT-AT will surely be a conversation piece at your holiday party. (Geek Tyrant)

As cool as that gingerbread AT-AT is, I think this AT-AT liquor cabinet is even cooler. First off, it was made to contain alcohol and secondly, this won’t fall apart or become infested with bugs by mid-January. At least I would hope so.

Man, this Nerdy Bits is just full of super talented folks. Like this guy, who created Darth Vader out of salt! He’s done a whole bunch of videos, all Art with Salt, and you can check ’em out here. (Laughing Squid)

And since we’re already on a Star Wars note, let’s end with this, a sexy Star Wars pin-up recruitment calender. What caught you attention first, Star Wars? Pin-up? It was boobs, wasn’t it?

You can pick up your own at Joey DeMarco’s Etsy shop. (Geek Tyrant)
