The Interwebz is a great place for nerdy art and the like. A lot of the time it’s fuckin’ weird shit like Kim Jong II getting assraped by Michael Jackson up in Neverland and other shit like that. But there are a lot of awesome things that we see on a daily basis, and we’re lazy nerd bastards so we just round them all up once a week for your nerdgasm art lovin’.
Who’s been a naughty princess? Princess Leia has been a very naughty princess! Titled “Leia and the Robot” by CGHUB artist Che-Che, this gives us a different take on what could have been going on before Luke Skywalker arrived at Jabba‘s palace. Imagine all the sex tapes R2D2 could be hoarding…

Hit the jump for MOAR!
Poor Ralphie, if only his aunt Clara and artist Andy Hunter knew that all the cool kids wore something from X-Men for Halloween this year.

This insanely cool piece of Doctor Who minimalist work comes to us by way of time and space… actually, it’s by the talented Modern Stylographer as part of a series of Doctor Who based work. Check out their work here and if you like them, you can even buy your favourite image as a print. Holiday hints here people, nudgenudgewinkwink.
If you haven’t heard of Adventure Time yet, you’ve been missing out on the funniest things since My Little Pony came back on the airwaves. A fan of Finn the human and Jake the dog crafted this rather striking Adventure Time/Batman piece. No damn clue why there’s a Game Boy dressed up like Robin, but it’s still cool nonetheless.

Greece has wonderful people in their artistic industry, just look at the work webcomic master and illustrator George Kambadais has been doing. Cleverly redesigning classic super hero costumes and recreating classic comic book covers, the man has a gift I tell you. Check out George’s personal page and see his takes on the Justice League, Green Arrow and even Spider-Man‘s rhino skipping while smelling a rose (you heard me).

Inspired by devoted steampunk peeps, DeviantART artist MecaniqueFairy took everyone’s top Disney movie characters and blasted them with a fun steampunk upgrade. Or downgrade, depending on how you look at it.

Pac-Man may have had to eat a power pellet to deal with those pesky ghosts constantly after him, but when the ghosts are after the 8-bit Ghostbusters, they don’t stand a chance! Power pellets are nice, but nothing beats a proton pack… nothing.

Kids love air shows. The high flying stunts and the smell of exploded Death Star in the air are all part of the fun at a Star Wars air show! No Ewoks allowed though; we’ve seen what they’ll do to a speeder bike at high speed.

And finally, with this being the last nerd art post before everyone goes nuts with the Christmas wrapping paper (because we know nobody does this shit in advance), we thought it would be nice to have everyone’s friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man wish everyone a Merry Christmas! (Just don’t let Mary Jane know you’ve seen this, she’d be pissed if she knew Black Cat was there. Shhh!)
