Every day the internet produces an astounding amount of goodies and gems. Most hilarious, some amusing, but all worth at least a few seconds of your time. We here at Nerd Bastards try to bring you the best bits of news and nerdery the webz has to offer, with a bit of snark thrown in. But sometimes not everything makes the cut.

Monday through Friday we’ll be bringing you our inbox leftovers, our forgotten bookmarks, the nerdy bits that simply slipped through the cracks. You can submit items to Nerdy Bits by emailing us at nerdybits@nerdbastards.com.

Mario and Peach, joined by Luigi and Toad, are starring in a new web series from Beat Down Boogie called Mario Warfare. It’s a Mario/Call of Duty mashup and it looks badass. Check out a teaser as well as two behind-the-scenes videos (1) (2). (Rampaged Reality)

Y’know, somehow it makes perfect sense Harley would read The Illiad or Sir Gawain and the Green Knight on her day off. Puddin’ wouldn’t pick a real dummy for his right hand hench wench. (Fashionably Geek)

Remove the head or do not, there is no try where Jedi zombies are involved. This zombie Yoda tee is currently on sale for $14, make sure you grab it soon. (Fashionably Geek)

That’s right, Ferris Bueller is back. At least for a Super Bowl commercial. What will the middle-age slacker be hocking? Well, now you’ve got a reason to tune into the Super Bowl to find out. (Laughing Squid)

This teaser for Kinect Star Wars is funny and all, but I want some gameplay footage, dammit! I have high hopes for this game but have yet to really see it in action.  To add to the frustration this game which was rumoured to release in 2011 is currently listed on Amazon as releasing December 31st, 2012. ARRGGHH!! If the world ends, we’ll never get to pretend we’re Jedi! (GameFreakz)

This is a brilliant mashup of Tyrion’s confession to Lysa Arryn in the Vale and Chunk’s confession to the Fratellis. It’s a Game of Goonies. (The Mary Sue)

Do remember Fisher-Price’s clockwork record player? They’re still making music over 40 years later thanks to today’s 3D printers. In this video, cool people at Shapeways shop Fastness have created a record of Portal‘s ending theme, “Still Alive.” And it plays perfectly! Well, as perfectly as a cheap record player for toddlers can play anything. (TDW: Geek)

You may be tiring of these Shit ____  Says videos, but I’m not. Especially when folks find new and funnier ways to exploit the meme. Like this one, Shit Samuel L. Jackson Says. (TDW)
