A few days back, there was a rumor going around that Rocksteady Studios (makes of the astounding Batman: Arkham Whatever games) were looking to spin their video game wizardry on the heroes in a half-shell next. A new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game by those dudes would be exciting, right? Hell, they could really just swap out Bats, add the Turtles and take all our money.

Well. It’s ain’t happening. Rocksteady Chief Sefton Hill broke everyones hearts when he told Kotaku “while the rumor was amusing, they’re doing no such thing.”

So unless the rumor was actually about a mutant rhino dabbling in the video game biz, we’re not seeing a new TMNT game, not from Rocksteady at least.

Damn it.
