Every day the internet produces an astounding amount of goodies and gems. Most hilarious, some amusing, but all worth at least a few seconds of your time. We here at Nerd Bastards try to bring you the best bits of news and nerdery the webz has to offer, with a bit of snark thrown in. But sometimes not everything makes the cut.
Monday through Friday we’ll be bringing you our inbox leftovers, our forgotten bookmarks, the nerdy bits that simply slipped through the cracks. You can submit items to Nerdy Bits by emailing us at email@example.com.
ABOVE: Lady Skeletor cosplay. Very rarely do I use the term “skull-fuck” and mean it, but I can’t argue my boner for these bones. [GAS]
If I and when I have kids, I really don’t quite know how I will introduce them to Star Wars. OPI has developed a collection of superheroic shades for The Amazing Spider-Man. Minus aptly named taglines, I don’t quite how these colors represent the film or vice versa. Seriously, why da faq is “Your Web or Mine” the color pink? Shouldn’t webbing based color be white? [Fashionably Geek]
For $60 (USD) you can own this adorable R2D2 birdhouse. [Technabob]
This AT-AT ice sculpture is perfect for a Hoth wedding [Neatorama]
Indiana Stormtrooper. “This is not the idol you’re looking for”. [So Geek Chic]
The Muppets was one of my favorite movies of 2011. I laughed, I cried and downloaded the soundtrack so fucking fast. With that said, I was a little disappointed that Beaker (my favorite muppet) wasn’t used all that much. However, a deleted scene has just been released that features Gonzo, Bunsen Honey Dew, Beaker and a random robot.
It always puts a smile on my face when Beaker is being chased by a harmful object. [TheMarySue]
Star Wars: Brocks Dub. [Dorkly]
