Every day the internet produces an astounding amount of goodies and gems. Most hilarious, some amusing, but all worth at least a few seconds of your time. We here at Nerd Bastards try to bring you the best bits of news and nerdery the webz has to offer, with a bit of snark thrown in. But sometimes not everything makes the cut. Monday through Friday we’ll be bringing you our inbox leftovers, our forgotten bookmarks, the nerdy bits that simply slipped through the cracks. You can submit items to Nerdy Bits by emailing us at nerdybits@nerdbastards.com.

Did you survive? I did, but only because my boyfriend has an unhealthy collection of knives and swords and I know not to trust him once people start dying. Hmm? Wonder what that says about our relationship? (Geeks of Doom)

Speaking of horrors and killing people, check out this awesome Rick Grimes cosplay. He can protect me from the zombie apocalypse any day. (Fashionably Geek)

We’ve shared some freakin’ sweet nerdy tattoos but this Batman sleeve could easily be the best thing ever. I’d want this on my body permanently, wouldn’t you? (Fashionably Geek)

A new Tumblr blog has sprouted called Gram of Thrones, where they take screencaps from Game of Thrones and Instagram ‘em to give them a cool, vintage look. Come on, it’s the internet, are you really all that surprised this is a thing? (TDW: Geek)

This is likely the coolest mini-golf course you’ll see today. Created for Tom Scott‘s birthday the course has holes inspired by, ”Minecraft, the Wii controller, and the British game show Crystal Maze, Scott’s friend Tom Wyatt constructed a series of holes dedicated to the venerable mad science video game Portal.” And yes, it includes a The Aperture Science Companion Sphere Incinerator and a “working” portal! (io9)

Nick Fury, I mean, Samuel L. Jackson has an ad for Siri. Oddly, he doesn’t ask what they call a quarter-pounder with cheese in France? (TDW: Geek)

Toronto Batman is back, and all he wants is some help opening his beef jerky. (TDW: Geek)

Nothing’s worse than having a couple of Jedi Witnesses on your bridge forcing their hokey religion on you with their mind tricks. (Geeks Are Sexy)

There’s no mistaking this video game medly is epic. Including are riffs from everything from Pokemon to HALO to Kingdom Hearts. Fredrik “FreddeGredde” Larsson, who you might know from Epic TV Theme Medley, Epic Simpsons Medley, and Epic Queen Cover, really out does himself here. (TDW)
