Every day the internet produces an astounding amount of goodies and gems. Most hilarious, some amusing, but all worth at least a few seconds of your time. We here at Nerd Bastards try to bring you the best bits of news and nerdery the webz has to offer, with a bit of snark thrown in. But sometimes not everything makes the cut. Monday through Friday we’ll be bringing you our inbox leftovers, our forgotten bookmarks, the nerdy bits that simply slipped through the cracks. You can submit items to Nerdy Bits by emailing us at nerdybits@nerdbastards.com.

ABOVE: Bat-stache . . . Bat-stache . . . Bat-stache ! ! ! This man has just inspired me to shave BatPubes.

J!NX designer Leeloo pulled on the R2-D2 inspired tutu again for a photoshoot so we could all get a better look. I still can’t get over how awesome it is and how much I want my own to prance around in. Tutorial, anyone? (Fashionably Geek)

If tutus aren’t your thing maybe you’d like a pair of R2-D2 shorts? These are hand-painted, so no, you can’t pick up a pair at Target. Created by productiveslacker just for that reason, ’cause she couldn’t find a pair anywhere! (Geek Tyrant)

Reddit user iliveon built this working pinball machine with all the Portal trimmings. Sure, it might look a little rough but let’s see you make a pinball machine. I expect an electronic one should come next, this game needs insults hurled at you by GLaDOS. (Kotaku)

Wild Snorlax appeared! You used Snuggle, it was super effective! You threw the pokèball. Snorlax was caught!!!

Etsy seller Cassie Wilson is offering this handmade, plump and sleepy, Snorlax pillow. Which is plumped up to be 9″ thick, and has a main body measuring 28×21″.  I’m yawning already. [$150 via SoGeekChic]

Yes, just yes. This might be the greatest mashing of Pokemon and Star Wars, ever. Created by Jonah Block and tattoo artist Cleber P. Valhala. (Fashionably Geek)

Apparently, Peach was too good to show, but that didn’t stop Daisy and Rosalina from posing prior to their big race. Y’know, don’t see enough cosplay of Princess’ race suits from Mario Kart Wii. Here’ they’re cosplayed by kolibri-chan and jj-dreamworldz. Photographed by Weatherstone. (Fashionably Geek)

Speaking of all things Mario, is this not the coolest 8-bit bathroom you’ve ever seen?!? They’ve thought of everything: toilet seat cover, wallpaper, mirror, towels, soap dispenser! Check out more images at Nerd Approved.

It’s the opening of Game of Thrones recreated with LEGOs by YouTuber bymatthewp. Honestly, I’m surprised it took so long for someone to do this, the opening credits seem to scream, “Build me!” now that you think about it. This vid is pretty impressive and I’d love to see them tackle all the locations, like Winterfell and the Wall. (TDW: Geek)

Dance guru Keith Apicary creates and original song and dance video all about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Completely shot in one take with no SFX, it’s just pure TMNT references and dance moves. (TDW)
