For those that don’t have the time to read the books and find they are unwilling to tune into HBO to view the latest episodes of Game of Thrones, there is an alternative.
Canadian improv group Bad Dog Theatre has decided to do a public service and present a different version of the massively famous fantasy production. Entitled Throne of Games, this alternate adaptation presents audiences with pretty much everything they need to know about the books, in a slight more straight-forward manner.
Though below we have but a recap of their second performance, I think you’ll get the general idea:
If you happen to be in Toronto (that’s in Canadia, for you ignorant ‘Mericans), head down to the Comedy Bar and catch these players on Wednesday. If you don’t happen to be in Toronto, then hook up with their Facebook page to sample the wares.
Thanks to toplessrobot for the heads-up.
