In less than a week we’ll all have seen The Amazing Spider-Man and will be able to weigh in on the great debate: should Sony have rebooted the franchise so soon? It really is the question hanging over the movie. For as craptacular as Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3 was, the first and second were truly, spectacular, and a lot of fans are still upset Sony decided to restart the whole franchise only five years later.
But, come on guys, you’ve got to admit what we’ve seen of Amazing Spider-Man looks goooooood. Not convinced? Here’s three more clips released today,
I really feel this movie has cracked the code, and not to knock the Raimi pictures, but Amazing Spider-Man looks to be the truest representation of the character yet. Agree or disagree?

I’m not sure why, but fans are desperate for Peter Parker to appear in an Avengers movie. Like they don’t have enough characters already. And this recent snap shot of Parker himself, Andrew Garfield carrying around a stack of Avengers comics has The Daily Mail convinced he’s a shoe-in for a role in Avengers 2.
Yeah, because there couldn’t possibly be another explanation that doesn’t involve Spider-Man appearing in the next Avengers movie.

They had Jim Kakalios on call for all their scientific queries. For instance, he provided the, “scientific basis for wall crawling and the tensile strength of spiders webbing.” He also supplied the film with an important and recognizable theory that could be used throughout the movie. It’s the theory seen on the chalkboard in the trailers and it’s called the Decay Rate Algorithm.
