The last time Star Wars helped to reveal a father didn’t go very well, there was lots of screaming and limbs flying everywhere. Thankfully this one went much smoother. Colonel Rob Kiebler was returning home from fourteen months in Afghanistan, just in time for his son Danny’s birthday.

The Colonel and his wife cooked up a special treat for their son to make his father’s  homecoming extra special. Enlisting the aid of some Cosplaying friends, Kiebler was transformed into a Jedi and joined by a group of other Star Wars characters. They then surprised an clearly overwhelmed 5 year old Danny during a birthday lunch.

Is it just me or do Jedi seem to like interrupting people in bars?
