The next time one of your friends gets the great idea to dress up and prank someone, you might want to step in and be the voice of reason. Montanna resident Randy Lee Tenley could have used some friendly advice last Sunday night. Randy decided to dress up in a fuzzy, military style Ghille suit (What Military snipers use and pictured below) in order to scare motorists and prompt Bigfoot 911 calls.
Tenley was struck and killed by two cars while attempting to cross Highway 93. Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Jim Schneider said:
“He was apparently trying to make people think he was Sasquatch so people would call in a Sasquatch sighting. You can’t make it up. I haven’t seen or heard of anything like this before. Obviously, his suit made it difficult for people to see him.”
Bigfoot is big business up in Montana, there is an annual Elliston Bigfoot Hunt that has been going strong for 22 years. There’s no actual hunting or guns involved, it’s like a great big game of hide and seek where someone dressed as Bigfoot hides, and the rest try to find him followed by a bonfire and BBQ hosted by a local tavern.
Once again, make sure you think through any “fun” pranks you might be planning to attempt. These days you might get shot before anyone realizes you’re just trying to prank them. You might remember this guy that almost got the shit kicked out of him after he dressed up as a zombie and chased people. This NerdBastard isn’t trying to spoil your fun, just be careful out there and think it all the way through.
