If you’re suffering from Game of Thrones withdrawal like I am then you’ll want to take a couple minutes out of your day to watch the video below. The video looks at some of the best visual effects of Season 2 and you get a close look at how it would have looked without those effects and the dramatic change those effects had on the scope of the series.
Simply hearing that Game of Thrones theme music makes my mouth water for more of George R.R. Martin‘s tale of Westeros and the fight for the Iron Throne. The special effects company responsible for those amazing effects is Pixmondo, an international company with studios located around the world. Game of Thrones won six Creative Arts Emmys for Best Special Visual Effects and Best Costumes. The show is expected to do just as well in this year’s awards ceremony.
Game of Thrones Season 3 premieres March 31, 2013 on HBO.
