And now, it’s time for another pile of super hero stuff to tease and appease. All the stuff that the Nerdbastards were too lazy to report on during the week is here in one easily digestible package for your enjoyment. So without further ado… The Super Hero Round Up!

First on the list is the latest development in the Warner Bros. versus the estates of Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster over Superman copyrights. As most probably know by now, the estate lawyer Marc Toberoff sued the studio and they sued back and it’s been going on for fkn ever. Now the studio wants to have the case thrown out, accusing Toberoff of being unethical, hiding essential information and generally being a lawyer. Is it finally over? Well, we don’t know yet.

A Black Panther movie is on many geek-lists of most desirable new Marvel flicks. Rumors said they were going to do it by 2014, but then they said nope. Now Djimon Hounsou, the voice of Black Panther in the animated series, is putting in his two cents. He says that not only is there a market for a movie, but also that he’d love to be involved in the flick, especially if got to play a live-action version of his animated role. Well, we’ll just have to wait and see if Marvel Studios decides whether Mr. Hounsuo’s words will change their mind.

Since no super hero round up is complete without some toys, here is a look at the cool new Iron Man Mark XLVII armor action figure. It’s on sale from Hasbro and you should go buy it now.

And more toys! With the arrival of a new cartoon series, LEGO is jumping onboard the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles train. Currently, there is only one set available, called the Shellraiser Street Chase. It features some turtles, some bad guys and the Party Wagon and runs about $60. Here’s what it looks like!

More after the jump…

The Wolverine movie is getting underway and people want to see pictures, right? Well here are some photos of the sexy Svetlana Khodchenkeva playing Viper.

The new DC world game, Injustice: Gods Among Us is coming up in six months. Now we get a look at the box art so we can collectively drool. The art reveals a couple of characters that were not known to be making an appearance in the game – The Joker and Green Lantern.

And here is an in-game shot of those two:

For some reason the character of Agent Coulson has become a fan-favorite. And though The Avengers saw the end of his life, he’s not quite out of the picture yet, coming back in episode 24 of the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon. Watch a clip!

Cosplay – I love it and I need it. What’s not to love about sexy hot ladies walking about with barely any clothes on? Here’s a video of a huge DC-themed cosplay photo shoot. It’s not much on the half-naked women, but it does have a hell-of-a-lot of DC characters in one place at one time.

Thanks for tuning in for another Super Hero Round Up! Come back again next week and get another fix. Until then, keep reading Nerdbastards and don’t forget to plug us to all your friends and family.
